I can be childlike sometimes. Childlike in the sense that I don't throw my wrappers away IMMEDIATELY. For example, if I am lounging around and I happen to eat a popsicle; I'm not going to make a special trip alllllll the way to the garbage can just to throw away my wrapper! Heaven forbid! I will keep that dang wrapper by my side until I finish surfing the web. When I get up to go pee I will throw that thang away.
Having that said, here is my story.
I happened to be eating a very delightful root beer float popsicle on my husband's white comforter. (Accident waiting to happen!) After relishing every drop of that popsicle, I left the wrapper right by my side until I absolutely had to get up (about an hour later). Lo and behold, there were remnants that stayed in the wrapper... and melted... right onto that white comforter. OOPS. Crap. Dang.
Mini heart attack ensues.
Husband notices my fidgety-ness.
WHAT DID YOU DO?!!!!!!
I grab a wet towel and start scrubbing the life out of that stained comforter...
Dab it, don't rub it!
Needless to say my husband knows more about housecleaning than I do.
SO, lesson learned: don't let your husband see your stains.
